Mini-game: Match Game

Hotel Hideaway includes the social mini-game Match!, where the goal is to meet new friends and discover people you are “compatible” with. Players answer a series of personality-based, multiple-choice questions inside a special room that can host up to 20 participants. When players choose the same answers, they create a “match” and earn points.

At the end of each round, results are analyzed to show how similar — or unique — your answers are compared to others. The more matches you make, the more rewards you earn. A ranking system is also available, offering prizes based on overall performance.

Studio Match Game

The Match mini-game is available in the public area Studio Match Game. It offers a waiting area and a game area accessible for a limited time. The first time you play is free; additional attempts require the purchase of diamond tickets.

Gameplay

During the game

A question is asked to all players participating in the game.

Four answers are provided, but only one can be selected.

When two or more players give the same answer, a “match” is created.

The results earn points that can be exchanged for rewards.

At the end of the game

After answering the questions, you will be divided into three different groups:

  • The Eccentrics - Your answers were so different from everyone else's that we had no choice but to put you here. You are unique!
  • Secret soulmates - You and one other person chose the same answers. You've found your best friends.
  • The popular ones - You chose the most popular answers. You're all in the same boat.

You can choose whether or not you want to visit these rooms; you will not be transported there directly. You also receive rewards and ranking points.

What can I win in Match?!

Rewards are determined by the total points earned during the game, which depend on the number of matching answers shared with other players. Depending on your results, you can unlock various types of stickers as prizes.
