To do tasks, just click on the green map icon and follow the instructions according to your level. You can do up to four tasks at the same time, if you don't complete one of the tasks, it can be completed later. But all the tasks in the level must be completed to move on to the next level and get the reward chest.
You can also perform daily tasks in addition to the tasks on the progress path.
