Rifts are dimensional oddities found in most of the hotel's public rooms, though a few don't have any, and none of the secret rooms do. Tap one to start extracting coins or diamonds from it: the longer you stay, and the more friends who join you, the more currency you walk away with.
Warpers
The first time you touch a rift, you create a link with another version of yourself in a parallel dimension. These small grey beings, known as warpers, can travel between rifts in the hotel and other universes. They're friendly toward their matching guest, but they have a mind of their own, so it's not always obvious what they're up to.
Types of rifts
There are two main categories: coin rifts and diamond rifts. Diamond rifts are much rarer. Each type also comes in three tiers (single, double and triple), visible above the progress bar when a rift spawns.

Finding and opening a rift
Find a rift in the hotel and tap on it, then tap the warper icon that appears above it. This starts a party invite above your head (shown as a blue ring around a circle). Only friends can join your party, and only during that countdown: press the icon above a friend's head to join theirs, or wait for them to join yours.

Extracting currency
This is where the actual gameplay happens: once you're in a rift, you tap repeatedly on your screen to boost your warper. The faster and more consistently you (and anyone in your party) tap, the bigger that boost, and the more currency ends up extracted. A few other things affect the payout too:
- Watching an in-game ad during extraction cuts 15 minutes off the time left on the rift. You can watch up to two of these a day.
- Once you've called your warper back (or the rift runs out on its own), watching another ad doubles everything you just extracted. Same daily limit: two ads.
- Tap the warper icon to call it back whenever you feel you've extracted enough. This pays out immediately.

Boosting your rewards
- A higher avatar level means more currency per rift.
- Rifting with friends increases what everyone earns, scaled by how high your friendship rank is with each of them (only friends can join a party).
- Every 24 hours you get 4 rift tokens, which quadruple your reward. They're spent automatically, one per rift, until you run out.
- Rewards also increase depending on your league group’s level.
Tips
Diamonds are worth more than coins (they can be converted to coins, not the other way round), so a diamond rift is always worth prioritising over a coin rift when you have a multiplier or an ad available. If you have neither left for the day, it's still worth looting a rift if you're chasing a rifting achievement.
